Angry 2014 FLHTK Heated Handgrips

Today my heated handgrips stopped working - both at the same time.
If both stop at the same time does that likely mean a fuse has gone?
Anyone had both heated handgrips stop working like this and know the cause?
What might cause this?

Check your fuses. It feeds off the lighter circuit. If the lighter is also inop that's your answer.

Warranty, that is what it is for. Even if it is just a fuse, it should not have blown. Let them fix it.

You are right - I have her booked in at the dealership for this Friday to have the issue investigated.

Pop the end cap off the right grip and see if plug came loose. It happened to Me.

+1 for Harttoo...

The plug under the right grip end cap is the first place to look. Just pop the end cap off to check. If the plug has shaken loose from its socket, it takes out both heated grips. Easy fix. Just push it in firmly. There is no "click", but you can feel a very slight friction catch when the plug seats.

At least for me, my guess is that my plug was never properly seated during installation. Both grips stopped working at about 4,000 miles. I took it in to the dealer to have them check it. They solved the problem and told me about the loose plug scenario. I've run another 21,000 miles with no problem.

I had a set fail on me after just a few weeks. They were installed by the dealer prior to the delivery of the bike so the dealer covered them under warranty. They said the control unit in the left grip was bad and replaced just the left grip.

Default Heated grips

I had a problem where they would go off and after I restarted the bike they might come on. Dealer found corrosion on one of the connectors. Not sure where the connector was.
