My 2015 Limited clutch feels stiffer (harder to hold in) after the recall was done. It does start in gear and not try and lurch forward. How's yours feel? Do you like it better or worse? Just wondering. HMT
I'm a dinosaur on here but does Harley say it's OK to start in gear on your bike because it has a hydraulic clutch. I would dare say the clutch pack is similar to most bike clutches. The hydraulic clutch lever has nothing to do with that. If it doesn't lurch a little starting in gear with the clutch pulled, I would dare say you have a problem with the clutch itself
I got mine done yesterday, and it was a good thing because I think it was starting to fail. No creep, but grinding when I put it in gear sometimes even after pumping the clutch a few times. Seemed to shift rough on my last ride as well.
No difference after the recall but I can't say I like the pull effort on this. My '05 Heritage was much easier to pull and my Yamaha Road Star was easier as well. I'm used to this new one but it's no fun holding it in at long stop lights......
