Default Received my FP3 today

Received my FP3 and Stage 1 Air cleaner today.
Installation was VERY easy.
Set up of the FP3 was also VERY easy.
Since I have stock head pipes and the SE Street Cannon slip ons Vance and Hines Recomended that I use the High output slip ons map.
Flashed the bike and took a short ride.
It definitely seems to have a much quicker throttle reponse and although the bike seemed to have had plenty of torque to start with it seems even torquier now (not sure that's a word) ..
It is possible that my butt is trying to justify to my mind the $ spent but it does seem improved.
One thing that I did not expect and cant understand why it woul;d change is that the exhaust note seems better...a little more low growl..which I like.
again it could be my ears trying to convince my wallet..but I am definitely pleased so far..

I was OK with everything that you said until you said it changed the exhaust note.

Mind playing tricks I'm thinking.

Could very well be...my next step is to get the sound I want by getting the Vance & Hines High out-put slip ons and then the headpipes...not sure which yet

Mine sounds different (better!) as well I think. Makes sense....more fuel, bigger bang.
