Aftermarket Air Cleaners (pics please)
I am trying to decide which aftermarket air cleaner to go with for my 2014 Ultra Classic. If you have switched out your air cleaner I would love to see pics to help me possibly make up my mind. I really like the looks of the Arlen Ness inverted series, but am definitely not tied to any particular brand/model at this point.
I already have V&H slip-ons on the bike so next step is to add a tuner (leaning towards FP3) and an AC. Lets see what you have right now. Thanks

The FP3 has 2 choses stock and high flow for AC choses..so most all (not stock) air filters and backing plates will allow the engine to breathe as much air as it can handle..unless you had some serious cams and head work then a bigger throttle body would be needed to allow the engine to breath more air..
The appearance of the filter and cover is personal chose and theres some cool ones out there but the prices climb fast and they all basically do the same thing, allow the engine to breathe and its only going to breathe as much as it can handle..
Threads like (Lets See them Apes) and (Lets See them Exhaust Systems) seem to work well if you just wanting to compare visuals.

I went with the FM and am happy with it. The replacement backing plate is much beefier than stock, I don't know what practical effect that has really, but I liked it . As was mentioned, it uses the stock cover, which I like the looks of... Price when bought with a head pipe made it a no brainer for me.
