I don't have the HD hidden model antenna, I have the stock antenna hidden under the seat. So my reception was bad anyway. But I never listen to radio. Pandora, flash drive or iphone for me. The only time I hear the radio, is when bike is just turned on. could be after 2 hours, or 2 days. sometime the flash drive comes on, sometimes the radio comes on. weird infotainment stuff

I tried a cree LED headlight as well. The problem with LEDs in a small space like the headlight housing on a scooter is that they run really hot and usually burn out in a short amount of time due to the lack of moving air to cool the heat sink. In an automotive setting, there is usually plenty of air space behind the headlights that allows the heat to escape.

I also have several thousand miles on mine and a few trips. I am to the point now I don't think about it, just ride it. Light is great at night, I rarely have to use my high beams.

Here's my question, and why I'm following the thread. I have a '14 Limited and only have one issue with the OEM LEDs. They SUCK in turns. I can't see anything ahead of me, through the turn. Once uprighted again, it's fine. The problem is that there's a "line" of light and then no light and in a turn, the "no light" is way more pronounced. It's really a dangerous situation and driving me nuts. How does this setup work in the twisties at night? Does the light travel up the road through a turn? Does it fade out or is there a pronounced line of light/no light? This looks to be the best set-up out there yet based on the pics posted but this is the issue I need resolved.

Check out these LED Cree passing lamp bulbs for $18.00!
I wonder if these Cree bulbs would work in our HD passing lamp kits? Do our bikes need a certain wattage or is there something different or special that is needed for motorcycle LED bulbs for the passing lamps? These are $18.00 on ebay? What is the difference from the FuelMoto LED passing lamp kit $69.00 kit?
