I read about the recall here last Thursday I believe and was contacted by my dealer on Monday to schedule the repair. Had the bike in today, took about an hour and all appears to be good. The clutch appears to work better than previously with a more
positive engagement. Hopefully no more low bidder issues.

"Hopefully no more low bidder issues".

That surely is a hollow hope!

Every component on these bikes almost certainly comes from the lowest bidder. That's why they're so "affordable and downright inexpensive"!

Mine is not on the list, but I try not to let it sit long enough to be a problem anyway.

Got mine done today. It took about an hour. I was told they rebuilt the master cylinder and flushed the system with new fluid. It feels pretty good. It feels like it did when I first purchased the bike. I was liking the broken in feeling so I hope I get that back with some miles.

My 2014 limited is on the list again.

Just in time for my 2 week bike trip.... Does anyone know how "long" the bike would have to sit to experience this issue? I've been ridding mine daily this week.

Somewhere in this thread it was mentioned "long term, 6-9 months", you should be fine. Any concerns just pump it for minute before starting to build up any pressure that might have been lost. Did you check the HD website, is yours on the recall list?

Thanks, I must have missed that.

I couldn't get the HD website to load up, most likely my work's proxy breaking it. I did check here.

https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/vinLookup

It shows my VIN as one of the affected models, and simply states that "it may lose the ability to generate enough lift to disengage the clutch after being parked for an extended period."
