Busy dealer just don't know if I should be riding it from now till then. But then it would be parked and may have that problem. Lol.

Why wouldn't you continue to ride? The recall states "may exhibit a condition in which it may lose the ability to generate enough lift to disengage the clutch after being parked for an extended period." I take extended period to mean like when you pull it out of winter storage. It doesn't sound like it's an issue if you ride it on a regular basis.

I'm going to ride it. Weather is just starting to get nice here. Just have to wait until the dealer gets the parts in and have it in. Don't know if they said not to ride until part is replaced. On the last recall did they say do not ride? Anyone know?

It did not say not to ride. I also don't leave it in gear when I park either. Plus I ride it almost all week if it's nice out. I was just asking to see what everyone else is doing

The "Do Not Ride" was on the first clutch recall on 10/16/2013. The dealers were to pickup the bikes that needed repair. The second clutch recall on 9/08/2014 did not have that statement and didn't require the dealer to pickup the bike.

I hope my RG needs this recall, maybe I can have them change the cable for free as part of the repair. The stock cable is a little tight for my taste since putting my apes on. I will have to check when I get home from work.

Mine is on the list. (2014 Limited) I have my stage 1 scheduled to go along with my 1000 mile service April 27. I'll need to put 500 miles on

From what I understand is that after an extended storage the clutch might not disengage, which if you pump it up with a few lever pulls you are good to go.

Learching while trying to start in gear would be a sign.
I think you would be able to "feel" something isn't right before hitting the start button.

Mine sat for five months no issues, but is on the list for recall.

Dealers will need some time to get kits in to do the fix.
