Is this a "do not ride do not sell" recall ?


Anyone know of an aftermarket reservoir that works ? Harley's had plenty time to get this figured out. I only broke 2 cables in 45 years.

 

My 2014 Limited is on the recall list. My wife's 2014 SG is not on the list.

 

I'm sure that the MOCO knows exactly what the problem is and a permanent fix for it. This ain't rocket science here!

More likely, they're frantically searching for a Chinese company that will supply more junk replacement parts for a few cents apiece!

 

Funny this page states there have only been 3 recalls on the 2014 FLHTK models.

And I was just getting used to the friction zone after the last clutch recall....

 

I checked my vin and no recalls for Hyd clutch, or ABS, or coolant leaks. Oh, that's right, I traded my Ultra Limited for a Rushmore Roadking. Don't have to worry about all that fancy stuff anymore. LOL

Is that May 13th date due to:
1. your schedule
2. parts availability to do the repair
3. or is the dealer that busy?


If the answer is #3, I'd call another dealer.
