Default Tallboy seat for my 15 RoadGlide, comments please

Looking at getting the Tallboy seat for my 15 RoadGlide. I am 6'3" and the stock seat as me pressed up against the dash.

Did a search but could not find any info on 14&15 bikes.

Anyone running this seat?

How do you like it?

Pros and cons please.

Thanks for your time,
Varooom

I have the 14 limited, I could not use the oem seat either. I checked around and found the best deal is for the tallboy Harley seat. The dealer here has all their seats as demo's riders can use to see if the seat will work before buying it ... I order the seat and waiting for it to come in.. It only moves you back 1.5 inches but feels like a lot more.. For me it was the difference I was looking for. I enjoyed riding the bike before but, enjoy riding it even more now that I don't feel like I am riding a kids bike ..

I like the comfort and positioning of mine. The passenger pad is obnoxiously large and the front lip climbs way up on the console. Not the prettiest seat but it works.

Put one on my limited for a week, It's been sitting in the basement since last July.
fine if you are a short distance rider, but I do 10 to 12 hr days when on a trip, not the seat for that kind of riding.

I demo'd one for a week. While it gave me the room to ride the bike, that sucker was a real Butt Burner. Demo one before buying one is my suggestion.

YMMV

Have one on my 14 Road king. Love it and will never go back to stock. It puts me in the correct position. The stock seat had me too far forward just like you are describing. I am 6'1" with a 34 inch inseam. Hope this helps.

I went to a Danny Gray LowIST seat, so far I really like it, only about 50 miles on it. it just came in on Good Friday. Way better looking the the Tall Boy HD seat.

The guy is looking to scoot back, not down.

The only thing I can add, is the tall boy seat will not accept an adjustable Rider Backrest therefore I was out.
