I demoed one on my 14 limited. I'm 6'2" 34 inseam. It moves you back decently but I found that I slide forward and have to hold myself back against the seat. Was not acceptable for anything but short rides. The stock seat is very butt comfortable for me but harley designs for 5'10" humans. This is why I think they should come out with a super tourer that has long wheelbase and much more room butt to dash. Hey...they made one for shortys!

Hartco Seats made me a custom seat that I had on my 2010 Limited, I just moved it over to the 2014. Doesn't fill in the passenger area, but it's extremely comfortable.
The fellow who made the seat explained that most seats are too narrow in the front end for tall guys, not giving us the hamstring support we need.
My seat is also taller than stock to get my knees lower. I can ride this seat for 12 hrs without getting butt burn.
The seat is not a pretty as a Mustang or Corbin, but it works.

I have been running the HD Tallboy on my 14 SG for about 16k miles now.
I am 6'3 and 210 with a 35" inseam. I have not spent more than a 5 hour day in this seat at any given trip, but after a few 13 hour days on the stock seat last year, I can tell you that the Tall boy seat works great for me. I have the rider back rest (PN: Kit-52583-09A) and it is great! I am able to get comfortable no matter what. My only complaint is how the passenger seat looks when my tour pack is off... But that doesn't happen that often, and I can always put my factory seat back on for short trips if looks were to really matter to me.
I would agree that finding a dealer that has some for you to test out is the way to go. The dealer in NC that allowed me to do so said that I could put some cash down and ride it for a week if I wanted.
Are there more comfortable seats out there? Yes. Can they cost less? Possibly. Will those makers allow you to test ride it and return it after a week? MAYBE...
Hope I could help!
