Looking for handlebars for my 15 RoadGlide
Hello all.
Love my new RoadGlide but at 6'3" the bars are just too close in for me.
Don't really want apes or to change clutch, brake, and throttle.
Just want to move them forward a bit so I don't feel so crunched.
Looks like all that HD has is the tallboy bars, don't like them.
What else is out there in a non ape bar?
Thanks for your time,
Varooom

Well I tried it.
That helps a very little. Moving the stock bars forward works but you can go only a little before the angle of the brake/clutch levers get in a weird, uncomfortable position. The hand controls are keyed to the bar so as you roll the handlebar forward you change the angle of the brake/clutch lever.
It helped a little, very little.
Still need a different handlebar
Looks like some kind of ape is the only answer. Will continue to search
Any other recommendations?
Thanks,

I'm not sure they fit the Rushmore's, so you'd have to call or email them, but Jim Nasi Customs has what they call the "Centurion Bars". I was going to get them for a 2013 RG i was eyeballing a while back. More like a drag bar than an ape setup.

Check out Wild 1 Chubby bars. http://www.wild1inc.com/ Quality product and they have numerous options to choose from. I have them on both of my bikes. Good luck.
