Whats a fair price for 2015 Road Glide Special

If you are happy with the bike and the deal works for you, you did fine. What you will find out on the forum is that no matter how great of a deal you find, someone else was an even better negotiator and got a better deal. If you would have managed to get a bike for free, a poster would come on and say they got two bikes for free.....just the way forums work.
The fact is no two markets are the same. Look around at all the dealers within an area you are willing to travel and get the best you can get. After a couple of quotes, you will know what the market price is. Make the deal, ride the bike off and never look back. Life is way to short to spend months trying to save an additional $500-$1000, I would rather be spending that time riding the bike.

Ditto there, Dinger. The "invisible hand" doesn't give the courtesy of a reach-around! I will say, though, the dealer in my market (pop. 200k) actually does seem to care. I had buyer's remorse (er... forum headspin) after reading the threads about the V&H HO vs. Monsters slip ons and Boom Phase II audio. Went back to the dealer this morning with hat in hand asking if I could make some changes.
Total clusterF*#k for them to sort out, but they were great about it. There was never a question as to whether they'd let me basically redo the add-ons I had financed into my loan on thursday. To me they earned whatever profit they made on the deal. BTW, its Fargo Harley Davidson, and the staff there definitely deserves a shout-out!

I am working on a deal for a 15 RGS here in NC and the best price I've been quoted so far is 23k OTD. That's just the bike no ESP or anything else. We have 3% tax. I'm confident that when I'm ready to pull the trigger I can get one for 22.5 OTD here. I thought that was pretty good considering everyone has the fever right now.

Had to sort out the purchase order but looks like my OTD on the RGS was $23,852.
Financed 84 mos. @ 3.5%
But of course by the time I left I was much higher than that. Maybe all the chrome in the shop was blinding me, but I also bought the gap insurance for $650. Anyone had experience with that?
They threw in a free t-shirt, bottle of paint cleaner, microfiber cloth, and 10% parts.
