Whats a fair price for 2015 Road Glide Special

Here is a copy of the fine print:
*Financing Offer available only on new 2014 and earlier Harley-Davidson motorcycles financed through Eaglemark Savings Bank (ESB), a Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) company and is subject to credit approval. Not all applicants will qualify. 1.99% APR offer is available only to high credit tier customers at ESB and only for up to a 60 month term. The APR may vary based on the applicant’s past credit performance and the term of the loan. For example, a 2014 Street Glide Special with an MSRP of $22,499, 10% down payment and amount financed of $20,249.10, 60 month repayment term, and 1.99% APR results in monthly payments of $354.83. In this example, customer is responsible for applicable taxes, title, licensing fees and any other fees or charges at the time of sale. APR is calculated according to the simple interest method. Not valid in conjunction with other offers. Customer must take delivery by May 31, 2015. Other terms, conditions, and limitations may apply. Dealer participation may vary. Not available at all dealerships. Financing offer is subject to change or cancellation at anytime. See your local Harley-Davidson dealership for details.

Thats valid for 2014 Bikes. How will that help him with a 15 Road Glide?

Iam sure the market is different in parts of the country. Most 15 RGS where sold before they came in around here, or very soon after they arrived. I have noticed there are a couple RGS sitting in the showroom now, I guess the first wave a buyers has cooled off, so I would think the dealers would be more inclined to work a deal.
When I bought mine last Nov, I paid sticker, but the dealer waved the setup and freight charge. Plus I got the normal 20% off on parts and labor spent before delivery, which I took full advantage of.
I got my asking price for my trade-in, which it seems was a little low, compared to the dealers asking price on the floor, but it was a 7 yr old bike.
Basically get what you are willing to pay

True but, I will bet it's an advertising mistake as I received this notice in the U.S. Mail last week. I will be headed to the dealer either today or tomorrow and will verify all of this.

The only reference made to a 2014 model is the example given of the financing. I love the last few sentences, dealer participation may vary, not available at all dealers. I have great credit and this interests me as I am expecting my new bike to arrive at the end of the month. Thanks for posting the information.
And BluKing that sounds like a fair deal. Here in the NorthEast that would be a steal.

Had to sort out the purchase order but looks like my OTD on the RGS was $23,852.
Financed 84 mos. @ 3.5%
But of course by the time I left I was much higher than that. Maybe all the chrome in the shop was blinding me, but I also bought the gap insurance for $650. Anyone had experience with that?
They threw in a free t-shirt, bottle of paint cleaner, microfiber cloth, and 10% parts.

The fact is no two markets are the same. Look around at all the dealers within an area you are willing to travel and get the best you can get. After a couple of quotes, you will know what the market price is. Make the deal, ride the bike off and never look back. Life is way to short to spend months trying to save an additional $500-$1000, I would rather be spending that time riding the bike.
