A bank or credit union will most likely always be a HD's financing.

Thanks in advance....
While not exactly the same bike...but close...I just pulled the trigger on a 2015 FLHXS. Like you, I asked what a fair price for the bike was...specifically how much off MSRP should I realistically expect?

MSRP on the bike was $23,399. In the end, after contacting several dealers and a little negotiating, I was able to get that down to $20,534. After prep, tax, etc, the total OTD price was an even $23,500

That Road Glide Special might be a little harder to negotiate on vs the SGS, but the 2 are similar and you might get somewhat similar results.

As others have said...don't be afraid to walk away, and check with multiple dealers.

Good luck!

As a matter of fact, YES. I read the whole postcard and the fine print. They also have used a Street Glide Special as the financial model.

This rate applies to all HD motorcycle lines.

I will post a photo later.

Here is a copy of the fine print:
*Financing Offer available only on new 2014 and earlier Harley-Davidson motorcycles financed through Eaglemark Savings Bank (ESB), a Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) company and is subject to credit approval. Not all applicants will qualify. 1.99% APR offer is available only to high credit tier customers at ESB and only for up to a 60 month term. The APR may vary based on the applicant’s past credit performance and the term of the loan. For example, a 2014 Street Glide Special with an MSRP of $22,499, 10% down payment and amount financed of $20,249.10, 60 month repayment term, and 1.99% APR results in monthly payments of $354.83. In this example, customer is responsible for applicable taxes, title, licensing fees and any other fees or charges at the time of sale. APR is calculated according to the simple interest method. Not valid in conjunction with other offers. Customer must take delivery by May 31, 2015. Other terms, conditions, and limitations may apply. Dealer participation may vary. Not available at all dealerships. Financing offer is subject to change or cancellation at anytime. See your local Harley-Davidson dealership for details.

they pay $18,500.00 for it. they need to keep the lights on, so $21,000.00 is fair.

I paid just under 22k otd with 6% tax about six weeks ago. It will be tough to get that same deal now that riding season is here.
