New Corbin Seat on my 2015 Road Glide
#21
I got my new Corbin Dual Tour heated seat on Friday and installed it on my 2014 LTD. The wife and I had a chance to try it out for about 150 miles on Saturday morning. As others have said the seat is really firm but I really like the seating position. I have a 31" inseam and I'm comfortably flat-footed even though the seat is wider in the "nose" area than stock. I fell like I sit a little lower and a little farther back. The wife likes the additional length of the armrest portion of the passenger backrest. We need more miles on it to reach the final verdict. It's a big investment so I hope this seat works for us.

Is your DT the stock configuration? I ask because corbin is suggesting
the DT maybe to tall for me. They did offer the do a nose job on the seat
which narrows the nose if I ordered one. I also have a 29" inseam with a 2016 road glide. I need a seat that sits pretty close to stock height but sits you an inch farther back. With the oem seat I can't slide my butt far enough away from the bars to sit up straight. The oem bars have a lot of pull back. I've used corbins on other bikes so not really looking for a different brand. Corbin thought the Classic solo would work better for me. Add a pillion seat and it costs more than the DT. Could be a saleman trying to up sale me or just reading some general notes from 2009 an up RG's.
