Default Finally did it

I called Fuel Moto today and ordered the Dresser Duals and FP3. Can't wait to get them on next week and see how it sounds, youtube is only so good. Trying to decide what I want to do with the air cleaner if anything. I have read that the stock AC does pretty good on its own, any benefits to changing it other than looks? I'm not looking for every last bit of power I can get and will probably stay at the stage 1.

Congrats, I just finished putting them on mine with FM's stage 1 AC back plate. Still fine tuning in Auto tune, but I'm liking them. Sound good to me

Hey Matt, could go with a Free Flowing Air Cleaner like the Outlaw 587 or the 636v. These Air Cleaners do not allow all the dirty, hot, oily crankcase air back in. And the good thing is that even if you find a Air Cleaner that you like better or even if u want to keep the stock Air Cleaner you can still route externally using a Hose Style Set Up. Your bike will truly thank you in the long run

Before routing externally.

After routing externally.

Ok, probably a newbie question, but with the breather kit, does oil or anything come out, do the filters need to replaced from time to time, and does it matter where you route the filter? Sorry for all the questions, I am learning as I go here, lots of firsts over the last 8 months. I started riding when I bought a VTX last June and then the Street Glide in September lol.

You might have some slight misting from the breather bolts, but if u don't want the chance of misting then u would need to go the with the hose style set up. If you choose to do so you can just spray the filter off when you wash your bike. And it doesn't matter where you route it there is many different options. Feel free to ask all the questions you need to

To prevent that mess, all you have to do is get some tubing from Autozone or the likes there of run it from the T that feeds into the throttle body , drill a tight hole in side of the a/c body & run it to atmosphere with a filter on it. Problem solved

Wow. Fuel Moto don't F around. I called and ordered my head pipe yesterday and UPS just showed with them about a half hour ago. Just waiting on the FP3 and gaskets, maybe they will show up in the mail today lol. I guess I better get to doing my 1000 mile service and then throw on the new stuff.

Also just ordered the tall boy cycles floor board relocation kit. Now I just have to pass my final test next week at work too get my training completion bonus and order the apes. Gonna be a good summer.

The bike already had the V&H 4.5" Hi-Outputs on it when I got it. Tried to make a signature with what all the bike has so far, but it won't show up for some reason.

I did my 1000 mile service, threw the tall boy seat on, and installed the dresser duals today, well I got as far as I could tonight before it got too dark. I still have to make sure the heat shields are all tight, put the bags back on, and somehow get the right side muffler on a little further. I was able to fire it up to see how it sounds quick and I am really liking it so far. Not gonna take it down the road until I get the FP3. I will throw up a before and after video of the sound once I get it complete. probably gonna keep the one floor board off til the relocation kit shows up.

I was having trouble with that right side muffler as well. Make sure your bolts are loose at the bracket that holds both pipes. I used a block of wood that helped knock it into place after I loosened those bolts up & everything came together.
