Wanting to add the painted inner fairing here soon. Whats best way to do this, Order 1 already painted or Remove and have painted?


Anyone know the part #? can't find it anywhere.


Was hoping to see 1 on ebay.

My suggestion would be the gentleman from "paintedharleyfairings" on Facebook. He does great work and is a lot cheaper than ordering from HD! Message him on FB

 

I went factory (amber whiskey). Thought the quality was unmatched. Although I've heard great things about three guy in Florida. The dealer has the part number and so does the PA catalog.

 

Thanks, I messaged the guy from Florida. Cant really see any prices listed. You know if there is a core charge then you send in your stock 1 for them to paint and resell or how this works?

 

I think it depends on the color you are needing. If it is a color like tequila sunrise I would just buy it from Harley that way you know it is going to match. If it is a more easier color to match you may as well have somebody paint it close to home that you trust. Mite save you cash on shipping. My buddy just purchased one from Harley and it is just as perfect as the paint on the tank.

 

I just got mine in Amber whiskey from the FB gentleman. Paint is perfect match. Very nice. Cost me $650 to my front door. I get $250 back when I send him my "core" inner. Just message him on FB if you'd like a price quote. He was always quick to get back with me when I had questions.

 

Yeh he already replied back, $375 then $30 for shipping. Also $250 core charge you get back after returning stock fairing.

 

So it's $125 plus shipping when it's all said and done?...Or do you send him $625 to start then minus $250 back?

If you meet up with him it is $450 with Installation. If he ships, its $375 plus $30 shipping. Also a $250 core charge which is refundable.
