I had those on my Road Glide Custom... Good tires but I thought Dunlops that came from factory were better in rain...

I've had both the dunlops and the MCII. I was happy with both, no issues.

Things you should question is WHAT caused your bearing to fail?? Belt tension?? Improper wheel alignment?? Improper torque specs?? Just something to think about. Don't fix the symptom, find the cause.

I took my stock tires off my 14 FLHTK when I first bought it and put the new German made Metzler 888 Marathon on it. There was a noticeable handling advantage with them but the biggest thing was how smooth they road at highway speeds. Very happy with these radials and should get good mileage out of them.

I don't think he said he had bearing fail, sounded like it , but was rear tire cupping, which is usually caused by tire pressure being off, Iv'e got close to 12,000 on mine, no issues so far with good wear.

yes I have been very diligent with my tire pressure and I ride alone most of the time

yes there is no bearing failure just a noisy rear tire that sounds like a bad bearing sorry for the confusion

Just put Commander2 on my '14 limited this week. Love them. Used to run them on my 09 ultra classic. Great handling and wear.

I changed to the Michelin Commander 2s on my '08 Night Train when my original Dunlops wore out. I will never run anything else on it! Felt like a different bike. Handling improved drastically, wet and dry. They have around 9,000 miles on them and still love them. The front tire is starting to cup from abusing the cornering prowess. I certainly don't blame that on the tires though!

on my sportster I went with stock Dunlop for the first couple of changes. Then I tried Shinko. Loved them. Nice ride nice grip wet and dry. Only put 1000 miles on them before I sold it to purchase my RK, I think I will give them a go again when I am in need of tires again.
