Default inner fairing removal time

Hi, i got the painted fairing for my 14 SGS from Paul Barber,should be here end of week or Monday,little nevous of taking inner fairing off with all those wires ,was going to go by the youtube video ,its a 09,anyways any advice or help or moral support would be helpful,thanks

I changed the inner fairing on my 2014 SG. It is only a facia and I don't think anything at all like on an 09 model. I did type up a guide on how I did it which I have attached. I later bought the workshop manual and found I had gone about it the correct way. It took me about half a day working it out for myself but like anything I could do it quicker if I were to do it again.

Just follow the manual Bobby...and have a coffee can handy for the screws...here's about a million of them...but fortunately they're mostly the same size

Take front shell off set back and realize this isn't too bad.

well i think i got all wires loose ,now the two stud bolts on each side and i think i can take it off ,going to take everything else off after fairing is off,hope this is rights

well i just about got it got inner fairing laying on floor took wires loose and screw but it is hung up on the usb door side ,going to bed try tomm. i guess

I watched Paul do mine in just over an hour. He said it was his second 2015 Road Glide. Its amazing the stuff you can leave on.

oh ya , i left alot of stuff on when took off bike that wasnt to bad ,now just taking off the inner shell
