Default Power Vision Install

Hi I just received my PV2 and want to hook up cable to the diagnostic cable on the bike 14 SGS I see there is two plugs on the left side and the bottom plug looks like the right one but its attached to the bike and there isn't enough room to connect the PV2 cable to it, I tried to pry it off but seems to be connected somehow and I don't want to break it by pulling to hard. Any suggestions would be really appreciated maybe a pic showing.. Thanks in advance. Grant

Those plugs slide to the left to remove. They're real stiff, but they will move.

I had the same issue, but I was able to plug in without removing connector, just barely. Now my question is what if I want to leave it so I can wire the cable up to handlebars. Doesn't look to good sitting in there that tight? Has anyone found the best way to route the cable up to bars?

I removed the gas tank and routed the wiring through the trunk where the wire harness is, then through the mid frame and came into the fuse box area from behind. Be sure to zip tie everything down nice and snug but not so tight that you damage the wiring. Also, if you do actually mount the PV to the handle bars, be sure you can still pull the bars to full lock left and right after everything is back together.

I ran it under the tank. Fed the end through the side cover, had to remove a couple of bolts to get the room between the frame and parts mounted under the side cover. 1/2 hour job, gas tank removal is easy.
