I have the light and will have the harness tomorrow. What's the easiest way to change the light? Through the front of do I have to take the fairing off?
No need to remove the outer fairing. I just changed out my headlight about a month ago to the HD daymaker reflector, I was able to change out the harness and headlight all from the front. Everything was very accessible once you remove the headlight.
remove the bottom screw, remove trim ring, then remove the 3 screws holding the headlight support bracket, pull light and unplug, reverse and your done.
If you did not have the day maker originally do you have to change the mounting plate? I saw on a YouTube video that the Harley day makers come with a new bracket. Just want to make sure I have everything before install. Thanks

My Daymaker reflector headlight didn't come with any brackets. Just removed old light and installed into same housing.
I have the daymaker as I have stated earlier, but the one thing I don't like about it is visibility when turning at night. I was wondering if the JW evo2 is better for this because of the way the two "D" shaped lights are positioned. I haven't adjusted the Daymaker since I've noticed this because I didn't want to lose any visibility. Am I the only one noticing this?
