I had an 11 limited, got in a traffic jam, stop and go on a hot eve, into the night in Detroit. Bike went into limp mode, no power, had to shut off, would not start for a long time, Been in some hot stop and go on 14 cooled, not a problem, as of yet, Well worth it to me. But , that's my opinion.

I will go limited when I trade up in a couple years and simply add classic saddle bag guards and tour pak classic rear guard Ill be set. All the goodies cost so much to add and if you haven't had heated grips etc you dont know what you are missing they rule. Ill just let the factory put most all of it on and forget about it. ymmv

I remember a really hot day last August here in NE Ohio, and I had my new Limited for about a month. It was a real Humid 95 degrees, and a buddy and I got lost in stop and go traffic trying to find a Restaurant in a small town about an hour away. He has a 2011 110 CVO Ultra, and I had my all stock 2014 Limited, with the exception of a Stage 1 kit. My fans were running allot, and I could hear his motor shutting down one cylinder. My fans were even running after we got there, and I shut my bike off. We talked about it some over dinner, but I didn't want to rub it in too much.

yea I got two bikes to sell before I make the leap---but that exactly where I'm going. I have noticed there are more then a few left over 14 limited with real low miles. Had a dealer tell me, its because they were what was used as the rental fleet. Local dealer has a few with 3300 to 8k miles, some real good deals. Just are not gonna give me beans on trade, so gotta sell mine out right first. ugg

I think the main thing you have to decide - do you want an air head or a wet head? Both nice scooters, the choice is yours.

Love my 2014 Limited. The only thing I would trade for is a fully liquid-cooled Ultra. And I expect that to happen in the not too distant future.

The EPA will be the death of the air cooled motors, sooner or later they will be fully water cooled.

I wanted the liquid cooling and it has made a heck of a difference...

The heated grips are great and so is the rest of the bike!
