I will never buy anything but a limited again. Had I known how comfortable it was to ride....I'd have switched years ago. I too was concerned about the lowers being not removable, but the twin cooled motor keeps me comfortable on even the hottest days. The vents provide as much air as you will ever need. Truth be told...it will probably be a CVO Limited next time. Anyway, it is definitely worth the extra cash. No regrets here at all. On another note, my buddy decided the Classic was all he needed. Every day we ride, he tells me he wished he'd got the Limited.

Best way to decide, is to go ride em both on a day that has your average riding temp, take her with ya, I don't think heat is an issue with limited, The difference in price will be greater if you get ultra, then wish you got limited, then the other way around, Good luck, and i know you'll enjoy

If you care strongly about air vs twin cooling, that makes the decision easy. You have to get the bike that has the cooling you want, it's the one thing you can't change.

Price difference on the two tone msrp is $2,650. I wanted the shower head, so for me it was a no brainer.
But I do like the other goodies that came along- the upgraded features and screen size on the infotainment, the luggage rack, heated grips, and the security system.

To me, a lot of value out of the extra cost.

I did NOT want water cooled. So for me it was a no brainer: Classic. Am super happy with it and never looked back. Love the Candy Orange color too. BTW, I live in AZ and have never felt excessive heat from the bike.

Get the Limited. You can't beat the additions.

For me, it was a no brainer to go with the Limited for the twin cooled. It is a lot cooler on the back of my legs in the Texas summer heat. When I had my RGU, I had to ride with feet up on the highway pegs all the time to keep the heat off. With the Limited I can ride feet on the boards all day. I can only imagine how much cooler it will be when I de-cat it.

When I was shopping I really wanted Candy Orange for the color but wanted the features of the Limited, I went with the Limited and after 5,000 + miles for me it was with out a doubt the right decision I couldn't be happier!

I'm with the majority, the twin water cooled engine is hands down worth it. I had a 09 Classic and traded it for my 14 Limited in New Mexico. The desert heat made riding more comfortable and now that I'm in Florida it's a much better ride. On a few occasions, I actually used the heated grips, 17 degrees in NW Florida.

I went with the Ultra with the 6.5 infotainment and Candy Orange. Exactly what I wanted.
