How many people pay MSRP on their Bikes what would be a typical discount on a purchase would it be better to order one? I am very curious.

I've bought three bikes from my dealer and have not paid MSRP. Check out www.seedealercost.com and that will arm you with MSRP and a rough idea of what your dealer is paying for the bike.

It all depends on location and the time of year you buy. The last two bikes I've bought were new year bikes with significant changes. I bought an 07 a month after they were released with the new 96" motor and I bought a Rushmore a month after they were released. So on both of these bikes I paid MSRP because the dealers in Dallas could get what they wanted. If you went into the dealer in Jan and bought a 2015 Ultra you could get $500 to $1000 off MSRP. But if you tried to buy a Road Glide I bet they would still get MSRP because they just came back out. It's all about supply and demand. If you buy from a remote dealer where demand is low then they will probably move on the price.

If you buy your bike from HD of Allen Texas and Amanda is your salesman, one look at her beautiful breast and you pay over MSRP !

If you're financing with them, good luck. I went in with cash in hand and got $2k off MSRP with no setup, freight or any other jazz they try and charge you. Mind you, this was just a couple weeks after the 15's arrived so they were motivated to clear 2014 inventory. Plus, I doubt the white bikes sell quickly. I still see used 14's selling online for more than I paid for mine brand new.

She only has one? But seriously, I paid msrp for both mine but they were very good to me on my trade ins. I have heard of dealers that will deal on price and I have seen one dealer in my area who won't even put a price on their bikes and try to get well over msrp if they can.

The dealer I got mine from had price tags on bikes that were WAY over MSRP. That must be for people who do no research and think they are getting a steal when the salesman knocks $2k off the price, and they still pay more than MSRP.
