Is anyone currently running the Kst 12 inch mayhems on a 2014 or 2015 street glide ? If so could you provide some pictures .. I ordered the 12 inch but still have the option to change to the 14 inch ... I want to be able to utilize my stock fairing mirrors ... I am told the 12 inch are ok .. I have ridden another glide that had the 12 inch yaffe on it and was fine with the mirrors .. Just want to make sure

 

My 12" vindiktas forced me to raise my elbow up and duck my head just a bit to use the mirrors, but it was possible to use them still. I'm 5' 11". But the vindiktas also had the bars so far back from the inner fairing, I may have been fine if they hugged the inner fairing like other bars.

 

These are kst 10 3/4". Just for reference.

 

12" Yaffe MBB here... I am only 5'7"... your body proportion has a LOT to do with how your bars will fit your posture and weather or not you can utilize your fairing mirrors...

With my Yaffe's... on initial install, I pushed them all the way to the fairing for aesthetics... they LOOKED better with following the lines... AND I was able to use the lower half of the fairing mirrors.

After that day of riding, I knew the bars needed to be pulled back for comfort ( About 3" off the fairing ). By the time I got the bars where I NEEDED them, my hand controls completely blocked the mirrors rendering them useless, even if I raised my arms... I would have to duck down to see anything.

All I am saying is that EVERYONE is different in proportion.. even in the same height range... arm length and torso length will really make a difference with each bar and how they are positioned to that rider as to how effective the the fairing mirrors will be.

 

I have the 12" KST customs. Unfortunately I can't get you pictures, but there is no way I would be able to use the stock fairing mirrors. As mentioned body proportion and riding position has a lot to do with it, but with these particular bars it would be tough for anyone to use fairing mirrors I think.
