Paul Barber did the paint work. I also removed the radio and disassembled it to get the face off. A local painted the vent and faceplate to match the Harley vivid black. I am happy with the results.

Looks good man! I like the plate surrounding the radio painted gloss black, looks much better...

I just took my "letter box" apart and had the inside and outside sprayed vivid black... May have to rip out the radio too...

 

It's not a hard task. 4 Allen head bolts and 4 sheet metal screws, 4 screws on the speaker housing and remove the tach and speedo, home free.
The faceplate is also a matter machine and sheet metal screws. I just did not like the contrast of colors between the paints inner fairing and the stock drab color of the vent and faceplate.
