Default Hammock Installed, working?

After a 1 month backorder, finally got my Hammock heated seat and wire harness from Kutter. Toughest part of installation is fishing the connector up. Be sure to fish it up to come up near the front of the seat, next to the tank.

So given the temp is 25 today and I really dont want to run the bike at idle for a long time, how can I tell if it's working. Turned on and went about 5 minutes on high, not sure if I felt anything. Seat had been in the garage awaiting install, so it started cold already. Wish it had a power-on LED or something.

Running, there is probably over 13V on the battery, with 12 or less, maybe not enought punch to get the seat hot?

I just bought one of those seats. Haven't put it on yet.
Anyhow, just wondering if you have to turn on the accessory switch? I think on my Ultra that plug under the seat is hot only with the Accessory switch on.

On my CVO if I turn it on the low setting it gets very warm. If I turn it on high it gets down right hot. If it's working don't worry you will feel it getting warm, just give it a few minutes.

I installed the heated Hammock on my 2014 Limited last month. Following installation I turned on the heat switch to make sure it worked. Five minutes or so later I became concerned as no heat was noticeable. A fellow forum member let me know that it takes more time, he was right. Took the bike for a ride, 10 minutes into the ride I could feel it, 20 minutes or so later I needed to turn down the heat to the low setting. The low setting is perfect, you can ride all day with it on. Just right.

I checked the connector and it showed 12V with the IGN selector switch in RUN or ACC. There is 0 volts with the IGN selector OFF.

My seat takes about 10 to 15 minutes to warm up. I do notice that if I run with the RPM's higher (3K) it warms up faster.

Yes, it does take about 10 or 15 minutes. Started on high, had to turn down to low, and I even turned it off at one point on the way home
