Ultra Limited Low cornering

Ultra Limited Low cornering
Stopped by a local dealer today to try to narrow down my color choice on a SGS. While there I sat on an Ultra, lord that thing was heavy coming off the stand. The salesman asked me to sit on a Limited Low. The difference is unbelievable. It feels a good 150 pound lighter. I think I'm sold.
My only concern is ground clearance. You Low owners... do you find it an issue? I'm not really an aggressive rider, but I'm worried that loaded with 2 up things are gonna grind.
Thanks!

Believe it has the low front suspension stock, plus the 12" rear shock. The primary cover is narrower as well. I have my SGS lowered front and rear with 28" inseam. I sat on the low last summer and couldn't believe how flickable the bike was. I've sat on other elera glides and they felt like pigs to just lift off the kickstand.

Never did find the published distance from ground to frame. Seat hight is published and is lower than SG I believe. The lean angle is published and is 2deg and 11/2 deg less if I recall. What that means for Rideability I would defer to someone that owns one. There are multiple posts about dragging floor boards and grinding off parts, and that's what turned me away.

That issue is one that made me buy a standard FatBoy versus a Deluxe. Had a '10 Deluxe and ground the hell outa the floorboards all the time. Sometimes to a point on corners that was unnerving. The FatBoy doesn't drag like that and I suspect the SmurfGlide will drag even quicker than a StreetGlide. Had two StreetGlides and they hit before my Limited and my Road King with their shorter stance. Yea, I decided to dub the new ULTRA low as a SmurfGlide. he he

For some of us the options are limited...be lower to the ground or not be able to get flat footed.
I had my Heritage Softail lowered both front and rear plus a custom seat.
It would scrape the floorboards in some turns...and yes it can get a little unnerving.
Once I have my seat back from MeanCity Cycles for the 2015 Limited I hope to be nearly flat-footed. I have not been able to ride it much but I can tell you that I have not yet scraped a floorboard. So the lean angle is better than my lowered softail.
