Default What Oil Is The BEST

Just looking for some tips on what is the best oil to use when doing an oil change? Right now I'm using Harley Davidson's SYN3 bulk oil in all three places. Is there anything that is a better price that is just as good or better? Thanks

This is a joke, right? Is this someone who has been a member (or lurker, like me) for several years, only to change their login and join so that a few months later they could ask (what may be the most discussed) one of the most controversial and discussed topics on the forum? I think that if you read thru the thousands(?) of replies and threads, that you may find vegetable oil to be the most liked.

Sorry, I had to, just make sure to have oil in it, although it will run for a while without oil, it won't be as long as it would have with oil. Now I remember, it is winter time and cold outside in most areas, this is all starting to make sense (at least more sense) to me now.

My bike still runs like new, and has close to 150,000 miles on it. It uses less than a quart over a 5000 mile service interval. The clutch is still the original, along with the compensator and the inner primary bearing. The tranny has never been opened up. So I'll never use anything but............................................... .................................................. .............................................()
