Default PV2 on the way

If I've read it once, I bet I've read it 20 times. Get a tuner 😉

Just wanted you to know your posts get read. You know who you are. Thanks for the consistent information.

Ordered the tuner today!

I have a 100% stock 14 Limited but I'm starting to think I should get a tuner too. No matter how gently I ride, I get really crappy milage (low 30s). I've also had the engine break up a bit when WOT. I root my phone because I like having control of what's installed and think I need to root my bike!

BTW, CM12 on my S4 works great with Boom.

The PV is a great tuner and you should see a big improvement in the way your bike runs.

To be honest, I am not at all unhappy with the bike, the ride or the fuel economy. All is great and I am averaging about 43 mpg. When I got the bike the dealer threw in the ventilator and a set of CVO take offs. They did a flash and it honestly seems to run very well.

I do feel some surging occasionally and I know the benefits from a good tune based on previous bikes. The PV2 just seems like a great way to go and I have come to believe most of what certain folks have to say about stuff on this forum.

The download tends to run lean and has slow timing in the cruise area. The first thing I am aware of is the front of the inlet to the muffler will start discoloring. It may not do the CVO's as they are insulated on the inside of the outer shell. It doesn't do it to all bikes, but have seen it on numerous occasions. Over time the surging/lean condition can cause some problems with caving in the ring lands and locking up the top ring or melting a hole on the edge of the piston and either can ruin your day. These are worse case scenarios. In hot weather they can cause bad troubles in town.

There is quite a bit of talk regarding "optimum AFR". Does anyone know what the stock, EPA choked AFR is from the factory??
