Boom box & battery ???
I have a 2014 SGS and one day i drained my battery and had to jump start it with a car.And yes the car was off!! I have it plugged into a battery tickler but now sometimes my boom box dose not come on and some times it does. it does seem a little hard to start but it is like -3 degrees out. do you think i might need a new battery. Thanks Kevin

Without a proper test of the battery you would be guessing . These. Batteries aren't Ni Cads that are hard to recover testing and a slow trickle charge would be the first thing I would do beside a battery load test .

do some searches for infotainment & boom box

it's generally accepted that it is a piece of crap, and does WEIRD and UNUSUAL things at power on.
I would trickle charge the bike, till it is fully charged, pull the battery, and have Auto Zone or Advance test it,
and then verify the latest software is loaded on the boom box.

KLBennett - you said it is cold outside at -3. My answere would be, yes, you need to put the bike on a tender.
next thing.... please don't continue to start the bike in this kind of weather unless the plan is to ride it some distance. I think it best to simply store it, hooked up to a tender, and stat it when the weather turns nice.

I left my 14 Ultra sit for a couple of weeks in Summer. When I got back it wouldn't start, the radio wouldn't power on etc.
Called the dealer. They said the tender should be on the battery anytime the bike will sit for more than a few days without running, the security system and other stuff use power 24/7 (don't shoot the messenger).
That actually made sense. In this cold weather it's worse.
