I sent the seller a question....

AND the seller claims these cannot be used with stock heated grips...

Does anyone have insight as to why??

 

I have no idea why they would say that. They worked out just fine for me

 

Worked fine on my 15 LTD.

 

Seller answered and stated they are chrome.

As I suspected.

He blamed a "catalog error"... I blame him not paying attention.

A couple of pics trying to use the stock SGS mirrors with the 2+2 Sweepers. I tried to take the pics with the camera positioned where my eyes are. This is also with the lowered MCC seat. Your hands are in the line of sight but they may still work (kind of).

 

I had a local indy put some Khrom Werks 2+2 on for a great price.

My situation is similar. Traded for a 2016 Street Glide Special and had the 2" HD Pullback bars installed. They worked fine on my 2011 limited. They are not working on my Rushmore. Too low and not the pullback I needed. Can't use my backrest without moving it way too forward.

I ordered the 2 + 2 narrow sweepers today. If I get that additional inch pull back and the 2 to 3 inches height from the reach bars, I should be fine. Can even pull them back a little if I don't need all the height.
