Sam......I just finished viewing the link from GoneBush.......Awsome link and your right, obvious is not always the solution (only meant sometimes easy to overlook what could work). The mounting system that GoneBush gives a link to is amazing. Watching the Wakeboarders flipping with the camera attached to the pack and watching the video that the camera captures is amazing. Same with the Snowboarding Vid. Just amazing stuff there, I have got to get me one of those packs. I'll tell you another thing, for what you get, it seems very fairly priced too. Bout $160 for the pack and then some available attachments. Really awesome stuff......

Thanks for the Link GoneBush !!!!!

GoPros' are way cool, always a fun subject...

I use just three mounts. On the helmet, the clamp style on the engine guard and on the pole. The pole is real nice if you have a willing and able passenger, just let them be the cinematographer...LOL

My GoPole is small enough to fit EASY in the tourpac and really allows for neat vid's.

Creativity is what is so fun about the GoPro...

Here is my links...

Agreed, alot of fun, and you really owe it to yourself to visit wizmount.com. That's the mounting system that GoneBush posted the line to and it is just amazing.

I prefer higher than lower. Like other's the GoPro mount allow for more shaking. You may also want to look in to ND filters. A neutral density filter will get rid of the jello like effect.

RAM suction cup mount.

You can attach the leash around the winshield screw. In addition you can mount it on the Tour Pac, or fairing lowers.

Made the leash out of wire fishing leader, disregard the Floatly Back Door just took it off my boat to give you an idea.

A. I don't wear a helmet... don't think that adhesive would last long on my bald melon.
B. I get seasick watching helmet-mounted recordings. Personally don't like them.

That's more what I'm looking for... I like the low shot vids. But I also like the ones on a boom mount where you can see the rider and the road.

I think this camera is like a Harley... it's only the down payment

I don't trust suction cups... ever have it come loose?

I know you can tether, but there is still that 20 or 30 seconds of it bouncing around on the paint while you get shut down on the side of the road to fix it...

Maybe it's not a problem, just what I see my luck bringing.
