My way for a no mess oil filter change
#41
My next oil change I'm going to put some aluminium foil under the filter, followed by a layer of paper towels, followed by a piece of cardboard cut from a beer case. I'm going to cut an anti freeze bottle lengthwise and use it to funnel oil into a Big Gulp cup which is inside a zip lock bag. After the filter is off I'm going to change to a remote filter mounted back by my primary.
You just can't be too careful when it comes to oil.

I ordered the flexible Pig funnel. I like that I can wipe it down, roll it up and it will be in a tool box drawer whenever I need it. Gee I might even find uses for it other than the Harley.
The $12 really stretched my budget too, but if I cut out just one Big Gulp per month I'll have it paid for in less than a year.

(note - to the license plate guy and oil filter relocation guy - no offense intended)

No worries here. Not every part or accessory is for every bike or every rider.

Plus you're a fellow Cheese Head so that has to count for something.
