'14 CVO Style Bags
#11
Got a side shot? I was going to do cvo bags, but after seeing the local dealerships owners ultra with cvo bags, they just didn't go down far enough for me. I could still see his mufflers from the side. I'm pulling the trigger on topshop new style 4.5" drop bags and a minister cvo style rear fender shortly.

The CVO bags are extended at the rear only so yes, you will see the sides of the mufflers. They're slanted unlike the aftermarket bags from Baddad etc which are flat and cover the mufflers from the sides too.
CVO bags are not the ones to get if that's the look you're going for. I would personally also go for a different style of fender, the CVO fender looks great with the CVO bags but not sure it'd suit flat bottomed bags that well IMHO.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, that's what I thought. The cvo minister fender I'm getting actually uses factory Harley cvo tail lights. I hemmed and hawed about doing all moco cvo bags and rear fender or aftermarket, but you can't get a cvo sand camo fender, so I'd have to pay a paint shop to paint it anyway. And figured if I'm having bags and fender painted, I would rather the same guy do all 3 pieces so I know it'll match perfectly instead of having factory matched bags and then hoping the locally painted fender matched exactly. By the time I'm going to pay for the topshop bags and fender and have his painter do them, I'm only going to be a few hundred more or possibly even to what all moco parts would have cost, plus this way I'll have the longer bags I want and they come lined with carpet, unlike the moco bags.
