I have a 2015 RGS. As soon as I red the thread I ran down to Radio Shack. I installed two RS sirens and man are they loud. Red to red, black to green, good to go. Best cheap mod every.

Does anyone know if you can still use the HD Pagers if you use the RS siren? I want to do the Radio Shack siren set up but also want to get the HD Rechargeable Pager if they are compatible. I really want to get the pager so if its not compatible I'll just get the HD siren otherwise. Thanks for any info.

 

Well I finally did the Radio Shack Siren upgrade to my 2014 Ultra. I used two sirens on the bike (part number 273-057). I used this part number because they are 108dB. I mounted one behind each side cover and It works great. The install of the sirens was the easy part. I ordered the Delphi connector from casper electronics and it took awhile to figure out how to install pins....Loud as hell!...Thank you all for the great information...you all rock!

 

I know this is an older thread but I was searching on how to install on a 16' Triglide and found this. I just installed the RS siren with the red to red and the black from the siren to the center white/green wire. The siren chirps when I turn the switch on and when I turn it off. On my 14' Ultra I had before it only chirped when turned off?
Anyone else notice this or experience this with the newer 16' model?

Has anyone been successfull in putting the Radio shack siren in chirpless mode on the newer bikes?

Thanks "ScreamingSkulls"! That's how I wired mine except I didn't cut the plug. The little wires on the siren had soldered ends on then and were stiff enough to push and lock right into the plug. I only used one siren but now you me thinking of adding another!

Installed one on 2017 SGS, red to red, black to middle on plug, works great.
