Tires
I am going to replace the original tires on my 2014 Ultra Limited soon. I am looking for advice regarding which brand of tires I should buy. Please don't say utilize the search feature as I tried that and didn't get anything helpful. I realize that opinions may vary but that is what I am looking for. Thanks in advance and Ride Safe everyone!

How many miles did you get out of those stock tires? I have 11,000 on mine and there s all sorts of tread left. I am thinking I will get 15,000 or more easy. Previously it was always at 10-12,000 and they were looking like slicks. If I can get that many miles out of these tires, I will keep buying more of them.

I've been pondering the same question, same bike...
I change a lot of MC tires, for myself and others (dozens per year), and there is one brand that always has both a very high build quality, and also very consistent balancing between sets--Michelin.
IMHO, YMMV, etc...
I don't have a particular allegiance to this brand, and have used just about every type that there is on the market, but these will most likely replace the stockers on my '14 FLHTK when it's time...

So far I like the tires on the 14 better then the old bike, not sure if they changed on the Rushmore's . last bike had tire issues. Cupping , and replaced fairly early, 14 has close to 12,000 mi. Still in good shape, have never had any other brand to compare, but these new ones seem much better so far

I only have 13K miles on the tires right now. At my last service they told me the front tire is wearing fast and should be replaced in about 1,000 miles. Also showed me the front brake pads are close to needing replacement. I couldn't believe it. The rear brake pads are fine and the tread depth on the rear tire is good. I am puzzled. Should have been the reverse since the rear tire carries most of the weight.
