Default Lookin for Sound\Performance 14 SGS

Currently have V & H twin slash round slip ons. Next step will be head pipes, asking for advice, Dresser Duals or Power Duals. Currently not as loud as I would like. My 08 FLSTC was noticeably louder with V & H longshots. Would like opinion as to which would deliver both deeper growl and more power.
A.C. and tune to follow this. Thanx.

power duals will get your volume up over stock headpipe while not killing your bottom end torque. dresser duals will probably get you the most volume but your bottom end torque will suffer.

I just installed the s&s power tune duals head pipe with big city thunder monster baffles in the headpipe to try to combat any torque loss and put the Cary Faas Racing 4 1/2" mufflers on the ends. Huge difference in sound, big deep rumble, reminds me of an old big block, low end power is good too. Not obnoxiously loud at idle but when you twist the wrist, there is no doubt about the sound it makes. I also put on the v&h fp3 and a base map, working on the auto tune now to tweak things in but so far I love it!

if you want a lot more sound then you may need to consider different mufflers. from what i've seen, anything in a 3.5" diameter muffler seems to be a little more hot rod-ish/raw engine sound, anything in the 4" diameter and up seems to be a deeper, not quite as loud sound. you can only get so much info from watching videos that were shot with a crappy camera and crappy microphone, best bet unfortunately is to try and find people around you with different setups and check them out.

Look at Fuel Moto Jackpot 2/1/2 or Jackpot XXX. They can also sell you a PV2 and supply maps and tuning knowledge.

Power Duals. I put Power Duals on my '12 Road King along with Ness Big Sucker a/c, tuner and RCX-Haust. It dynoed @ 81 h.p. and 101 torque. Yours might do better with the 255 cams in the Rushmore models. Sound really improves with the Power Duals. Sounds wicked.

I prefered the look and sound of the dressers over the power duals. Both are good solutions for you. Both are louder with a deeper tone. If you're looking for better performance then go with the power duals. It's all a matter of what you're looking for and the look you prefer.

V & H power duals and then the sound is up to the slip ons. You will need a tuner and of course the V & H FP3 is just freakin killer! Bluetooth tuning, easy to use, you can change stuff if you like or not to. easy install and really trick.

Just put dresser duals on mine, in front of CFR's. Good god it's loud. I used to have CFR's on my '13 road glide, with a crossover dual set up (cobra), and it wasn't even close to this.
