Fuel management needed?
14 FLHXS with stage 1 air cleaner, download, V&H Power Duals and V&H Twin Slash Monster Ovals.
Have about 200 miles on this set-up and have not noticed any popping. Bike feels to me as if it is running better than stock.
My question...do I need fuel management? I am not noticing any extra heat or other indicators but it has been cold riding here.
FWIW...dealer said that they did not believe that I needed to do any fuel management.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

You're golden. As long as the bike is running good and there is no decel pop or backfiring, you have all you'll ever need unless you add a more free flowing air filter or motor work. Just enjoy the bike and the sound and forget the tuner.
I wish I had done that on this bike. Dealer talked me into the air cleaner since I was doing head pipes as well as mufflers, then of course insisted I needed the tuner and a dyno to get it all right.
Still isn't freaking right. Still getting quite a bit of decel pop and an occasional backfire. Even pops once in a while when getting on it good and shifting up to the next gear. The bike does have more power, sounds great, and is much cooler running. But I can't afford another $400+ to find a different guy to dyno tune it right.

I third his second on the FP3. Maybe not as good as a full custom dyno tune, but darn close. Best option if you are on a budget and/or don't need every single ounce of performance possible. If you make other changes, just run auto tune again. FP3 not for cam mods, but V&H is working on that.
