My Review of a Heated Hammock Seat on my 2014 FLHTK
#82
You are welcome: When I demoed the regular heated Hammock, one of the things I really liked about it is that it moved me back vs the stock seat. I am assuming the CVO seat will be close to the same. I would recommend that you install one of the Hammock demo's from your Harley Dealership, that is the best way to see what you think.
Regarding Corbin; I had a Corbin dual tour on my last bike. It was a great looking seat and well made. My problem was comfort. The Corbin foam is very firm, I never felt is was "comfortable", the Hammock is much better IMO. As you have seen before, everyone is different. Try the demo to be sure!

Yes, let us know how the seating position is of the CVO seat, because I am interested in finding out how you like the riding position, not the comfort of the seat, but the riding position. I am interested in this info, because you stated a couple of times that sitting farther back was one of the things you wanted, and, unless they changed the seat from '14 to '15, there is no way the CVO hammock can do that. Like I said in the reply I made to you before, I have both seats, not had but have, installed on my bikes and I measured them when I replied and gave you the measurements before. The '15 CVO sits a good 1-1.5" forward of the rider/passenger hammock on the '10.

Found one on Ebay with Scott's help sending me the link to it. I called them today, and worked out a fair deal for the both of us, and bought it.
I can tell from the padding in front of the backrest slot on the 14 and 15 seats, I'm pretty sure it will push me forward, just like the stock seat does now. If all I have to do is send it to MCC to move me back some, I'll be okay with that. I see that 2013 and older CVO seats do sit you back some vs the 14/15 seats, but are wider in the passenger seating area, and will be right up against the rear speaker pods when placed on the 14-15 bike's.
Please correct me if I'm wrong with the above statements.
Thanks for everyone's help.

Your going to love it. The angle of the back of the driver seat is not as straight up as the heated hammock nor the stock seat. This seat lets you sit back a little more than the original and I feel more than the regular heated hammock. I really like the sitting position on this CVO seat.

Neither, I demoed the heated Hammock that retails for $899. The part number ends with 177. Hope that helps

Have you talked with MCC about making adjustments to your seat? I ask this because unless they have changed their way of doing some seats (which is possible, because I haven't had a seat done by them in about 3yrs now), they will not make changes to the Hammock seat. If you have talked to them and know that they now do make changes, please post it here so that I may see it, I have ask them a couple of times about my original Hammock, so if they now will work on them, I want to get some work done. Thanks, Oh and yes those are the pics of the seats, and as you can see, the older one is wider and lets you get back farther.
