My Review of a Heated Hammock Seat on my 2014 FLHTK

Scott Hammock Seat adapter
Scott, if that other end of that wire isn't full, I would save your money. I think my dealer wanted 200 to install it and it's literally it was 3 screws (counting the leather hand grip strap that I left off of the new seat), the saddle bag, the plastic plate, then two a few small bolts where we had to feed the wire through. That said, if you have the money or that plug is already full, then I would agree. Better to have them put it in than to do it yourself. And if you have a good relationship with your dealer, they may hook you up just for buying a 1k seat. Good luck.

I have no idea. In the past I have just had my dealer do the work, I am now trying to learn more about how things work, and when possible do things myself. The more I learn the better, somehow, it brings me closer to my bike.

I will check out in the morning. I can't thank you enough for all your efforts. You really went the extra mile.

Scott Hammock Seat adapter
Scott, also, I found this in case your adapter plug is already taken for something else. It's a splitter.

A follow-up to the beginning of this tread.
My test on a Road Zeppelin didn't work out, plus I didn't like how wide it looked on the bike. Its like putting an overstuffed chair on the bike.
So... I've decided to go with the heated Hammock and new bars. The added leg room and comfort is too good to pass on.
