Default 2015 Infotainment Feedback (Prompts) issue

I can't seem to get the volume settings to stay in place. I set them to the preferred volume but they drop back to minimum before I reach my destination.
Any thoughts?

Maybe your messing with them by mistake when adjusting the radio volume. I set my prompt level over a year ago and haven't touched it again.

I believe the volume of the prompts or media is set only while it's active (the same as it was on the pre-Rushmore models). For example, you can only adjust the CB volume when you have the CB as the current audio. Same with prompts for navigation points and other things. But sometimes you might be listing to your iPod and the CB chimes in too softly, or listening to Serius and a Nav prompt starts up way too loud. If you're quick you can adjust those volumes as they are occurring. If you're too slow here in adjusting the volumes you might just be inadvertently adjusting the volumes of your iPod or Serius radio or whatever you were listening to before the interruption.

But it is very easy to be adjusting he wrong volume if you're slow on the trigger.

You are absolutely right took me a while to figure it out and I even had a dealer look at it while I was on a ride. I kind of stumbled onto the fix. It is easy but you have to catch her while she is giving you a prompt then turn the volume up or down but like you said you have to be quick on the trigger.
