I took a V rod rim in to the local Honda dealership to get a 240 mounted an balanced. They did the mounting by hand. They used vinyl coated tire irons. They said they do the larger ones by hand since their older machine can't fit wider that 180. Getting it on the rim by hand is one thing, getting it to seal an hold air is another. I had one tire that took forever to get seated. I left it in a cold garage took it in in the spring an it would not seat until we set it by the heat vent for an hour.
The Honda dealer wanted $30 to mount an balance the V rod tire, HD wanted $30 to mount an $30 to balance if you brought them the tire an wheel off the bike.

My Indy has a tire machine and spin balancer that looks just like the ones they use for cars. Takes him about 3 minutes for the whole process and charges 40 bucks. I have always wanted to try it myself but I know better. 40 bucks is worth it to avoid busting my hands and wheels up trying it myself.

I have all the hand tools and static balancer at home and typically change tires myself when I have time. I think I'm saving myself a whole 70 bucks a set maybe at 35 per tire local. Think I've done 6-8 tires so far. So I've saved somewhere around 280 bucks (maybe).
It's satisfying to do something on your own, but this job...its work. I mean you can just start randomly cussing at any moment. Sometimes you may even get to see your own blood.
If you consistently have small children around, it's probably best to take the tires/wheels into a shop.

There are websites out there that look like they're selling things for very low prices- but they are scammers, you buy the item, your card is charged, and you'll never get the product. Or a refund.
Or the item you saw wasn't really a No Mar, it just came up on the search.

Here is a motorcycle tire "attachment" for the harbor freight car tire changer. Looks like the changer and attachment together is under $100.

Doesn't look "no mar", but some of this stuff would resolve that for a reasonable cost.

Maybe someday I'll be willing to spend the time doing that stuff myself. But right now my garage is overcrowded as it is and it's worth $100 to be able to spend that time doing something else...like riding.
