Default need exhaust suggestions please?

2015 Street Glide. I do not like the look of the stock exhaust although I am fine with the relative quiet. Loud pipes may save lives but they also destroy relations with the neighbors
Can anyone suggest a slip on exhaust that looks nice but is not all that much louder than stock?
I love the looks of the Rinehart 4 inch and they sound fine at idle. Its just that for me they're too loud when on the throttle

suggestions please?

I have V&H Monster Rounds and my neighbors are not bothered by them. I'm sure there a lot of options out there that will be neighbor friendly with the stock head pipes.

I had Screamin Eagle Street Cannons and they were too quiet for me. Even when they wore in and got a little louder, just not for me. I have them for sale, 400 miles on them like new with slash up/down tips. They cost $399 plus tax at the dealer, plus $79.99 for the tips. Make me a good offer and I can ship them to you or you can pick them up. I live in Toledo Ohio.

I put on the V & H true duals from my ultra and like the sound... again.

Some of Vance & Hines slip-ons that they sell do meet EPA sound standards. I would imagine that they would be as quiet as stock mufflers.

Stay stock.

What about the "look" do you not like that you think you're going to fix by spending $500?

My exhaust is loud. My neighbors don't care, I don't rev and gun it, I just ride it.

And I leave home at 4:15....

As sixguns noted we are doing a wide range of testing in this thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...fuel-moto.html

For what you are looking for I would take a look at the E-Series mufflers, which are completely tunable for sound and performance. This muffler allows you to quickly & easily change tuning discs for sound from very close to stock dB level, or if one prefers a louder exhaust note you can add discs to increase sound. These mufflers work especially well for those doing modifications in stages as they allow you to tailor the exhaust sound and requirements without changing mufflers or baffles when using both the stock head pipe or if you change to an aftermarket pipe which is much more free flowing. They have also been extensively tested in stock 70Hp applications to over 150Hp, one set of mufflers with only disc changes.

Just bought a 14 Limited CVO. Those Screaming eagles sound more like a whining chicken. Have a set of 2-1/4'' Fullsack baffles ordered. Will report the results when I get them installed. Like the look of the mufflers. Just not the sound.
