Default 1.18.2 took away my AVC

Guys I must have been one of the lucky ones. My AVC worked flawlessly since I bought the bike back in September of 2014. Now I did the update and it looks like it went away for me. Everything else works pretty much as it should. Oh well. Maybe one day this will be sorted out.

The AVC is about the only thing that never worked for me.

We're hearing that once you start, go to the AVC on the infotainment and move the level one position or more, then move it back to where you want it again. Then it seems to work but you have to do this every time you start the bike. Mine seems to be working correctly since the update so it is sporadic as to whom this affects.

My AVC has never worked, and that did not change with any and the last software updates. In fact, I have not noticed any issues, with or without the updates, except for the non-functioning AVC.

Come on Mo-Co, how hard can it be........?

I tried this yesterday and it made no difference for me. My AVC worked minimally with 1.17.4 and now does not work at all.

Minor stuff.

My AVC worked sporadically at first also. Then I read on a thread a while back that you should let your radio get past the part where you have to acknowledge the warning before you fire it up. I started doing this and my AVC has been flawless every since. Maybe it's just coincidence but it works as it should now. So let it be queuing up while you throw you gloves and helmet on and then fire it off after you acknowledge the warning; see what happens.

I agree. That's what I do every time now and am having no problems......except for the zoom thingy with the NAV.

Mine worked, and still "works" but with effectively removing the top 4 sound increases from the system. so I can no longer hear things at highway speeds above 70.

I reinstalled the software and the AVC works again but its more subtle than before. Finally though it is remembering the last audio source. It used to default to FM, now it's remembering that I used the USB last and starting from there.

Since the 1.18.2 upgrade I get the "dark screen" at start-up a LOT. It only seems to do it during the day. Never does it in the mornings when it's still dark. Was just occasionally doing it with the other updates but now about 1 out of every 3 times I start the bike when it's daylight. Takes a few miles to brighten up where I can see it.
