Default Help with a USB stick

Using the 6.5 infotainment system, I'm using a 8 gig USB thumb drive with music loaded. I have 1 playlist with about 20 songs. On a road trip today, I selected the playlist and after it had played all the songs, I tried to get it out of the playlist so I could play the other selections, but I could not for the life of me get it to play anything but the playlist. Anyone know how to do this?

For some reason I also had issues with a thumb drive. I switched to a iPod nano, now my playlist works flawlessly. Others seem to have success with thumb drives, not me.

I take my Playlists in iTunes and copy and paste to my USB thumb drive. Then I choose whichever one I want by selecting "Find" in upper left corner of infotainment screen, "Album" and then select what I want to hear. I can then have Playlists and whole Albums easily located in one place and played. It's a simple, few seconds of copying over to your USB drive once you've built the Playlist or chosen the album you want.

I don't use Itunes so I use Playlist Creator 3.6.2 http://www.oddgravity.de/

I put all the files for a group in a folder on the flash drive. Then configure playlist creator to use the folder name for the playlist name and to put the playlist file in the root. It works.

I have only the 4.3 but it will NOT play my playlists from my flashdrive I created on my Windows Media Player laptop. (Very possible the world's most common media platform IMHO). Well it will, but it'll take a rocket trajectory computer model to figure out how...Plays all 1500 song fine, in alphabetical order that is...Or I can search for bands, albums ect...

I never could get the playlists to work right. I just let it play all the songs on the thumb drive. Just put it on shuffle.

I use a program called Playlist Creator 3.6.2 from http://www.oddgravity.de/

It's easy to use and free.

You can avoid playing in alphabetical order by selecting Find > Music, select the first song, then go back to Menu and select Random. Works for me anyway.
