Default Anyone install a CB module in a 2014?

I have the 2014 Ultra Classic, and have been looking to add the 'bike to bike' module. It doesn't look too hard, basically plug and play, then get it flashed at the dealer.

Has anyone here done it? Is it hard?

Well, mine (CVO Limited) comes with it, but the module on mine was faulty so I had to replace it. As you say, plug and play, then a 2 minute reflash at the dealer, and that's it. Does the Ultra still have the antenna and [obviously] the antenna cable from the tourpak to the fairing? If not, that will be a minor PITA to install, though not complicated.

No problem, Chip. 15 minute job for you including removing and replacing the fairing, and 5 minute job at the dealer.

Many of the accessories on the HD website have installation instructions you can download, might be worth a look if you're curious.

Its a little more than plug and play. Yes you add the module in the fairing. You have to buy the stud for the tour pak to mount the antenna. You also have to purchase the right side switch pod. Its a modular piece, the entire unit is changed in order to add the PTT switch.

It can also be added to the street glide. There is a good write up in the Audio section using a hidden J&M antenna.

You have to add another PTT? The bike already has the PTT on the left side for the stereo, it doesn't use that one? Thanks!!

So you have the cb PTT on the right, and the stereo PTT on the left? Right now to activate voice, etc., my button is on the left.
