I had the CB installed on my '14 Ultra. It was a little over $800 with labor. Based on reviews from HDForums, I recommend the "shorty" CB antenna as it performs better (lower SWR). You may want to match it with the shorty am/fm antenna. Any loss of am/fm signal was negligible. A little more obvious on weather band but still good enough....Best bet is to keep the factory am/fm antenna probably. ..but it will look a little screwy.

Used it with another bike on a recent trip to the GA/NC mountains and found it helpful.

There is no "push to talk" for the stereo. The cruise is the "same" button on the left for the '14. Push on push off. Button on right is push transmit, release to receive.

On the 14 models the PTT is on the Right. Are you talking about the button that is used for Voice Commands that is on the left handlebar switch? If so that is NOT the PTT switch that is needed for the CB.

Here is a thread about adding a CB to a 14 SG.

Ok, just came home. The spot where a PTT would be on the left side is a blank. Now I see.

Can anyone tell me if HD Part#71500130 is the right switch? I can find it on the web but not on the actual Harley Davidson site.

Also, if I got the lighted hand controls, wouldn't that be killing two birds with one stone? I could get the PTT I needed AND add the lighted controls? Thanks.

Yet, a stupid question, since I've not had a passenger yet, how does one communicate with the passenger?
You communicate with the passenger using 2 wired headsets & the Intercom function. Intercom has separate headset volume controls for rider & passenger (uses same volume control buttons, just adjusted while in intercom mode) and has a sensitivity setting for VOX (voice actuated) operation.

Note - you will have interference issues between bike's speakers & intercom unless you select audio output from the radio to go to headsets as well).
