Default auxiliary lamps

I am try to install the auxiliary lamps Part #67800367 to my 2014 street glide and iI have four 4" long foam pads and I do not no where they go. They don't show them in the parts list or the directions.I did try them on the inside of the ring that goes around the light part but when you go to tighten the ring up it does not close all the way it leaves a cap about 3/16 wide HELP!!! Thanks Kevin

Yes they are supposed to go inside the ring. I have used them before and I have left them out too; some of the older aux lamp rings actually had them glued in. I'll go out and measure my gap as I just installed a set of aux light on y 14 SG. Little bit more than an 1/8"

When I fitted mine to my SG I put the foam strips down the inside side of each ring and left a gap at the bottom so any moisture could run out. When you screw the ring up do not over tighten it. There is a gap as shown on Harley's own sales photo for the lights.
