Default Modded Inner Fairing - My rendition

After an unfortunate accident occurred with the wife and I on our new Limited I decided it was time to make a change with the inner fairing.

I had a buddy of mine paint it Amber Whiskey. The paint isn't perfect and the black gauge plate is slightly off (HD design flaw) where it is mounts to the inner fairing, I think it looks great.

My painter said that the inner fairing is one of the hardest pieces he has ever had to paint due to all of the contour changes, the depth of the gauge holes, and the depth of the speaker holes. Overall though, for $170 for the HD paint, I am happy with it. As for it being perfect, nothing in life is.

It also looks far better than it did when it was black!

Here are some pics:

Now that, my friend, is a piece of art!!
I love how the vivid black sets off against the amber.

Really like the inner fairing look. I had ordered one for my new Limited and am just waiting to take it in for them to install along with the amp and speakers. I'll do a little at a time and before I make modifications to it. Oh, I also got the blind spot mirrors also.
